Episode 44 - April 3, 2018

Streamed live at Twitch.tv/Seigyn on Tuesday, April 3, 2018.

After many years of wanting to, this year will be the first year that either of us will attend Desert Hearts Festival. In honor of the festival and that community, we decided to theme this week's Electric Exploration after the artists on the lineup (which just dropped). We heard some groovers from the likes of Mikey Lion, RYBO, Sacha Robotti, Andreas Henneberg, Shaded, Tara Brooks, Tim Engelhardt, Serge Devant, atish, and Damian Lazarus.

To celebrate REZZ being awarded a Juno for Electronic Album of the Year, the theme for Electric Exploration Ep 43 was...you guessed it, REZZ. Staying in the midtempo range the whole time, we heard a host of her original or remixed material, plus some other great mid-techno and mid-bass tracks from the likes of NOMAD, 13, Satisfye, Punker, Hunter Siegel, Bad Intentions, Tameloop, Alon Mor, Seven Lions, Savoy, Opiuo, Mat Zo, and Midnight Kids, along with some released (and unreleased, for those who watched the stream live) Seigyn.

Benny Bridges recently dropped a brand new EP called, "New Places," and once we listened to it we wanted to play it on the show. Thus, we decided to theme Episode 42 after the label on which it was released, Fantastic Voyage, because just about everything that's been released on it so far has been amazing. Along with some music from the label's founder Justin Jay and label artist Sam von Hown, the funk was brought last night with tracks from Funk Leblanc, NAO, Classixx, 5 Reasons, The Mary Nixons, Lee Foss, Frankie Knuckles (Director's Cut), DNA '92, and Frost.

Episode 38 - Feb 20, 2018

Streamed live on Twitch (twitch.tv/seigyn) on Tuesday, February 20, 2018.

Episode 38 took us on an adventure through some different styles of bass music, though some house was had at the end. It was good fun going a little harder than usual with tracks from Punker, False Noise, Howwler, Shadient, Kill The Noise and Illenium, Seven Lions, Nero, HEYZ, Nora En Pure, Wolfgang Gartner and k?d, and more.
